"On day 8 of the AfriForum v Malema/EFF trial, AfriForum's advocate, Mark Oppenheimer, asked Julius Malema, leader of the EFF, to pledge that he would never call for the slaughtering of white people. Malema outright refused to do so and testified that he might call for the slaughtering of whites in the future. This comes after Malema said at a rally in 2016 that he is "not calling for the slaughtering of whites (at least for now)."
